Welcome to the website of the Kimblewick Hunt. The site has lots of information about us, about coming hunting with us, and about the events, social and equestrian, that we organise.
As last year, we’re aiming to get the Hunt calendar out in time to sell at the shows, so the deadline for the competition is tight - all photos need to be with us by July 15th.
As always, we’re looking for great hunting or Hunt-related photographs to use in the 2017 Hunt Calendar, either candid ‘people’ shots or big beautiful pictures for the individual months. The Supporters’ Club is once again donating a £50 prize for the judges’ favourite amateur photograph, whether used in the Calendar or not, though we’re hoping to open up the selection process to the Hunt’s Facebook group this year as well. All photographs used will be credited to the photographers.
The rules are simple:
• All photos must be received by July 15th
• Photographs must be of or related to the Kimblewick Hunt and have been taken in the twelve months prior to the closing date
• Digital photos only, please do not post us prints
• Photographs can only be used in the Hunt Calendar if they are of sufficient technical as well as artistic quality (but don’t be put off by that - we’ve had mobile phone pictures in the calendar every year this competition has been running)
• By submitting a photograph you consent to its use free of charge on this website and in the Calendar, sales of which benefit the Hunt
• The judges’ decision regarding prizes and inclusion in the Calendar is final

Details are now available for the Kimblewick Hunt summer rides, and ideal introduction to the principles of hunting: hounds at the meet, a ride across land not usually open to the public with experts on hand, finished off with a cuppa and chat.
Entries are now open for this year’s ride at the Duke of Wellington’s estate on July 31st. See the Riding page for details and entries.
Mark Vincent and Daniel Bower will be running the length of the Hunt country over the forthcoming Bank Holiday (May 28-30th) to raise money for the Hunt, and for the North Devon Hospice, who helped with the care of Mark’s mum in her final 6 months.
Spectators are encouraged, and anyone is more than welcome to join in sections of the run, if you don’t quite fancy running the full 60 miles!

It looks like the Hunt Ball has started a trend - the Sponsored Ride at RAF Halton on March 13th has also sold out. This year the ride sold out just a week after tickets went on sale.
